Mary Berglund-Bos
An honor graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Music, Ms. Bos has been a distinguished member of numerous esteemed symphony orchestras in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Florida. Having grown up in a family of talented musicians, Mary began her formal violin training at the age of six.
Mary has performed with numerous well-known Stars. Such notables are: Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Burt Bacharach, Andy Williams, Dionne Warwick, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, The Moody Blues, Sandy Patti, Regis & Kathie Lee, Smokey Robinson, Neil Sedaka, Henry Mancini, Marvin Hamlish, Beth Neilson Chapman, Barry Manilow, and most recently Bernadette Peters and Johnny Mathis.
Ms. Bos’s currently performs with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bach Festival Orchestra, and Walt Disney World. She also performs with other local groups, churches, and organizations.
Freelance music production is another specialty of our talented artist. She performs as a soloist, a strolling violinist, with a string quartet, trio, or small ensemble for any occasion. A Bachelor’s Degree in Composition established a foundation from which she can compose, arrange, and transcribe music.
Additionally, two dozen students of all ages take private violin or flute lessons from Mary with several progressing into local youth orchestras and receiving music scholarships to college.
